Qualifications:
- Successful candidate will be a Senior Mechanical Engineer with minimum 10 years of experience.
- Candidate will be Professional Engineer accredited by APEGGA.
- Successful candidate will have superior communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Business Development skills are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for running the Mechanical Department.
- Responsible for leading and supervising up to 10 Engineers.
- Position will have client liaison responsibilities on mechanical issues
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
- P&ID and mechanical drawing development skills are required.
- Ability to run the Mechanical Department as required.
Opportunity:
- The successful candidate will have a preference to be a Discipline Engineer.
- This will allow the Senior Mechanical Engineer a diverse role in overseeing all aspects of the department by offering their technical expertise on all matters.
- This will mean design supervision in several areas including pipeline, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, stress analysis, equipment specs and mechanical drawing development.
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients on projects throughout Western Canada.
