Qualifications:
- Reporting to the Vice President, Engineering , the successful candidate will be an APEGGA member with at least 8 years of industry experience.
- Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual who can work in a multi-disciplinary team and who is interested in helping grow the company.
Responsibilities:
- Provide reservoir/exploitation guidance to the Oyen Team for existing oil and natural gas properties and new development areas.
- Conduct economic evaluations in support of exploitation activities.
- Completion/stimulation practices in area.
- Evaluate potential acquisitions within and outside of geographical area.
- Provide reserve updates and estimations throughout the year and review of third party engineers’ reports at year end.
- Work effectively in a team environment with Geology, Geophysics and other Engineering disciplines to coordinate team’s budget activities.
- Maintain effective communication within a multidisciplinary team of Engineering, Geology, Operations and Land.
